a.       First through Fifth Characters (HF169) = Character(s) for internal use, and not applicable for tracking information purposes.

b.      Sixth Character (1) = shift item was packed (First Shift)

1.  Locate the Best By Date (BEST BY: MM/YYYY) on the piece of candy.

 

 

2.  Translate the Best By Date into tracking information:
